Artist: Andrew Bird
  Song: Wait

Tabbed from Bowl of Fire's Oh! The Grandeur, where Bird plays it a half step down.
Chords are lazily strummed on the offbeat. Bird will diminish or 7th chords when
he feels like it and it adds a bluesy element... I play the first E and the
chorus E (Music of hair...) on the 7th fret, then I walk up to G# from fret 2
for (Music of pain...). Not sure what the following chord is so I called it chord X:

E-------------------
B-------------------
G---2---4---5-------
D---4---4---4-------
A---3---3---3-------
E------------------- played in a progression, one chord per beat

E
Wait, don't go too early
			    C#m
You're tired but everyone's tired
    A Am
But no one is tired enough
     E B
Only wait a little and listen

E
Music of hair
G#
Music of pain
A X E
Music of looms waving all our loves again
	    A
Be there to hear it
Am E
It's your only chance

G#
Hair will become interesting
C#m
Pain will become interesting
F#
second hand gloves
	    A Am
Will become lovely again

E
Wait
         G# A
Wait for now
		    X
distrust everything if you have to
    E
But trust the hours
	     A Am
Haven't they carried you everyWhere
      E
up to now
